If you are requesting permission to cover an upcoming fixture/event, you should email or call with your requirements at least 72 hours prior to the date, and we will commence the registration process on your behalf. However, if you know one or two weeks in advance, please advise the Agency sooner if possible.

The Agency may also contact you directly with offers to work. You will have provided your preferred stadiums to work based on your location and the opportunities available in that area, and the Agency will do its best to ensure you are assigned to one of those. However, you may be also asked to cover a fixture/event by the Agency.

We will need to ensure both your photography and equipment meets the Agencies expectations.

Prospective photographers are expected to have a strong understanding and experience of sports photo journalism processes and workflow. You will be fully competent in workflow management, meta data capture and syndication processes. You will have a full and comprehensive knowlegde of Photo Mechanic, photographers working solely in editing software packages need not apply.

Football DataCo Limited have clearly documented their rules, regulations and conduct requirements for Agencies. As a Photographer working on behalf of the Agency, these will apply to you.

Should the Agency agree to proceed with your application to join the team, you will be sent a formal contract to complete, sign, date and return. Please ensure you have read and familiarised yourself with the content set out in this agreement. In signing your Photographers Contract with the Agency it is expressly implied that you are also accepting the 'Independent Agency Agreement Photographers & Editorial Text 2017_18 Season' conditions in the Football DataCo Limited document. If there is anything you do not agree with contained in this Agreement, you should not sign up with the Agency.
